Smartpin introduces ShareLink! A new feature that lets you easily share asset information with anyone.

For Admins and Owners

Are you a Smartpin team admin who needs to share an asset's location with someone outside your team? With Sharelink, it's easier than ever.

Choose the asset you want to share
Pick the asset you want to share from the Map View or right on the asset's page. Click the "Share Location" button to generate a new link. Then, enter the recipients' email addresses and set the link expiration date.
Smartpin takes care of the rest
Once you hit Send, Smartpin automatically delivers a secure tracking link to each recipient's inbox. The link stays active until its set expiration time. After that, it's automatically disabled and can no longer be accessed.
Manage sent links
Go to the Sharelink page to manage your existing links. You can disable any link early if needed and easily see which ones are active or already expired.

For Recipients

Whether you're a worker tracking equipment, a company owner, or a client — Sharelink lets you see asset locations even without a Smartpin account.
